Los Angeles job hunters visiting the online classifieds portal this week might notice a listing in the TV/film/video gigs category for "MTV’s official Rock Band 2 show!!!"
"The creator of ‘Rock Star’ and ‘The Apprentice,’ Mark Burnett and MTV bring you the first show based on the new game ‘Rock Band 2,’ " touts the ad, which seeks "four people to form their own band and show us their stuff live on stage for the chance to win the Ultimate Rock Band Experience."
Rockers aren’t required to have any experience going in, but their quartet must reside in the Southern California area, all be at least 18 years old and include a lead vocalist, guitarist, bassist and drummer. Interested parties are advised to "be prepared to rock."
Reps from MTV and Mark Burnett Prods. didn’t return calls to confirm development of a new series based on the popular EA vidgame.
