The Mouse House set a new record for streaming videos at Disney.com in July, thanks in part to web originals tied to popular propeties such as "High School Musical" and the latest musicvids from Miley Cyrus and the Jonas brothers.
Disney.com streams totalled 186.7 million that month, according to comScore Video Metrix. That tally topped the site's previous record -- set during July 2007 -- by more than 4 million streams. It repped a 39 percent jump from the prior month.
Streams spiked after the site premiered a first look at the upcoming theatrical installment of "High School Musical" on July 14.
