BAM sets Barbet Schroeder retro

Series will sneak preview 'Inju'

The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) will screen a Barbet Schroeder retrospective starting with "Paris vu Par," a series of vignettes produced by Schroeder and directed by French filmmakers including Claude Chabrol, Jean-Luc Godard, and Eric Rohmer. The series will include better-known Schroeder films like "Reversal of Fortune" and "Single White Female" alongside a sneak preview of "Inju, la bete dans l'ombre" his latest movie, which has not yet secured US distribution and will screen at Toronto. The Schroeder program runs Oct. 3-21.
