Distributor pacts for Broadway documentary

James D. Stern and Adam Del Deo's doc 'Every Little Step' follows a revival production of 'A Chorus Line.'

Japanese distrib Shochiku has inked an acquisition deal for James D. Stern and Adam Del Deo's Broadway documentary "Every Little Step" with William Morris Independent.

Shochiku plans to releases the doc, about the history and 2006 revival of iconic musical "A Chorus Line," on Oct. 25 in Japan.  

"Every Little Step," which Stern and Del Deo co-produced and helmed through Endgame Entertainment, will world preem at the Toronto Film Festival on Sept. 6.
