Pic was slated for Stateside release on Nov. 14, about 48 hours after its Nov. 13 world preem Down Under, but now the Oz date will also shift to tally with the U.S.

Pic lensed in locations around Oz during 2007, and director Baz Luhrmann is currently shooting pickups in Australia with lead thesps.
Fox’s date shift will buy Luhrmann a little more time to finish the film.
Summit Entertainment leapt to the space vacated by “Harry Potter” with its highly anticipated vampire pic “Twilight.”
Other Thanksgiving movies include Disney toon “Bolt,” Cormac McCarthy adaptation “The Road” and another literary adaptation, “The Time Traveler’s Wife.”
