Twenty-year-old Osment, best known for his role in “The Sixth Sense,” is the third and final thesp to join a cast that also includes John Leguizamo and Cedric the Entertainer.
“Buffalo,” about three Chicago lowlifes involved in a bungled heist, is one of two dueling Mamet plays to appear on Broadway this fall. Hollywood satire “Speed-the-Plow,” toplined by Jeremy Piven, opens in October.
Helmed by Robert Falls, “Buffalo” begins previews Oct. 31 at the Belasco Theater ahead of a Nov. 17 opening.
