To be eligible, docs must have completed a weeklong commercial run in at least one theater in both Los Angeles County and Manhattan between Sept. 1, 2007 and Aug. 31, 2008.
Besides the completed entry form, each entry should be accompanied by an English-language synopsis of the film, a list of filmcredits, filmographies of the director and/or producer(s), 25 DVD copies of the film and proof of a 7-day longrun.
The nominations for the 81st Academy Awards will be announced at 5:30 a.m. PT on Jan. 22, at the Acad’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
