In her speech, to be delivered Oct. 12, Zarghami will look at how the localization of programs can strengthen global brands.
Other speakers and panelists set for Mipcom Junior include Cindy Rose, managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Walt Disney Internet Group; Rob Sorcher, chief content officer, Cartoon Network; Ira Rubenstein, exec VP, Global Digital Media Group, Marvel Entertainment; Neil Ross Russell, managing director of children’s TV at BBC Worldwide; and Nicole Keeb, head of international co-productions and acquisitions, children and youth, ZDF.
As part of Mipcom’s sidebar on Spain, Catalan channel TV3 will host a conference on Spanish animation on Oct. 11.
Mipcom Junior is run by Reed Midem, which -- like Daily Variety -- is owned by Reed Elsevier.
