The latest edition of the long-running reality franchise, "Survivor: Gabon -- Earth's Last Eden," is now set to premiere on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m.
"Survivor" was originally slated to bow on Sept. 18. By moving back a week, the preem will now air as a two-hour event -- the first two-hour premiere ever for the "Survivor" franchise.
It's a season of firsts for the show, which will also be broadcast in high definition for the first time.
Meanwhile, the shift means the second hour of "Survivor" will now go up against the first hour of ABC's two-hour "Grey's Anatomy" season premiere. "Survivor" will also go up against the hourlong preems of "My Name Is Earl" and "The Office" on NBC.
CBS will cap off the night with a repeat of "CSI's" season finale. "CSI's" new season bows Oct. 9, a week after the vice presidential debates.
