English-language pic, which had its first screening this weekend at the Norwegian Film Festival in Haugesund, was helmed by Robert Rhodin and produced by Rhodin and Carl Johan Merner for production company White Shark.
"It's sold to many Euro countries, to Latin and South America, the whole Middle East and Asian countries including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Iran," said NonStop's Judith Toth. But it has yet to sell to the U.S., U.K., France, Italy or Germany.
The film, which unspooled in an unfinished form at the Cannes Film Market, will screen for buyers at the AFM in Santa Monica in November, and a TV version will be brought to the Mipcom TV mart in Cannes in October.
A sequel, "Gnomes and Trolls: The Forest Trial," is already being produced and has presold to 64 countries.
