TWC's international arm get duo

Rothstein, Kier fill void left by Basner

Michael Rothstein and Jonathan Kier have been upped on the international side of the Weinstein Co., filling the void left by Glen Basner, who departed this summer.

Rothstein will be exec VP of international sales and distribution and Kier will be senior VP of international sales and distribution. Both will be based in Gotham and report to chief operating officer Lee Solomon.

In addition to his other duties, Solomon oversees international.

Rothstein has worked with the Weinsteins for over 10 years, at TWC and Miramax. Kier joined the company three years ago, having worked in affiliate sales at MTV and as a development exec for Universal-based producer Marc Platt.
