The seven-episode series is set in a contemporary noir metropolis and follows a mayor and crime syndicate leader as they work together to take down the city's crime boss.
Series also features guest stars Tony Todd, Lou Casal and April Scott.
P.R. Brown helmed the series, penned by WIMO partners Drew Fitzgerald and Stefan Haller.
Sony Electronics is sponsoring the series and will use it to showcase the company's new line of Vaio laptop computers.
Series was also shot with Sony professional high-definition cameras.
Crackle is bowing the series before it moves to YouTube, Hulu, AOL, Adobe and mobile phone services from AT&T and Verizon Wireless.
"Coma" will also be released as a director's cut Blu-ray disc and as magazine inserts in October. Limited-edition DVD will also include music and movie content from Sony BMG and Sony Pictures.
WIMO's Fitzgerald and Haller produced the project with Miguel Melendez at Overbrook and Anonymous Content.
"We spent a great deal of time experimenting with different formats, and 'Coma' was the result of our extensive research and development in this area," Fitzgerald said of the shingle's interest in producing original material for the Internet.
