MPAA ups PR executive Kaltman

Exec named VP corporate communications

Elizabeth Kaltman, the Motion Picture Assn. of America’s director of corporate communications for more than two years, has been upped to VP of corporate communications.

Kaltman will continue to work in MPAA’s Los Angeles office. She takes over the position that Kori Bernards recently ankled to head up media relations for Universal Studios.

"Elizabeth has played an essential role in all aspects of the MPAA’s public relations and outreach on the issues of antipiracy, litigation, legislation and education," said MPAA topper Dan Glickman in a statement.

Prior to joining the MPAA, Kaltman held key positions in Los Angeles city government, most recently as communications director for city councilmember Wendy Greuel and, before that, as a top press aide to Mayor James K. Hahn.
