Variety sets gala for actors

'10 to Watch' lineup to be presented Oct. 27

Variety will present its annual “10 Actors to Watch” lineup at the Hollywood Awards gala ceremony Oct. 27 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The list is compiled by a team of Variety critics, editors and reporters and is a part of Variety’s “10 to Watch” program, spotlighting emerging talent in the fields of acting, directing, screenwriting and cinematography, among others.

Last year’s list included Academy Award nominee Amy Ryan and Ben Foster of “3:10 to Yuma.”

The “10 to Watch” program is supervised by Steven Gaydos, Variety’s exec editor of features.
