Todd Harris returns to agenting

Joins ICM after stint as a manager

After an eight-year stint as manager, Todd Harris will return to agenting at ICM.

The former head of the William Morris Agency's motion picture division, who spent 16 years at Triad and WMA, has joined ICM's motion picture department as senior motion picture agent.

Nicole Clemens, who was recently elevated to head the agency's motion picture literary department, hired Harris.

Harris most recently managed such clients as Danny Cannon, an exec producer of the three "CSI" series, helmer Stephen Sommers and Tom Epperson. Harris wouldn't comment on which management clients may join him, but he will continue to work closely with ICM client Cannon, who is exec producer of the CBS series "Eleventh Hour" and directed its pilot.

"A classy guy has decided to get back into the gladiator pit," Clemens said.

Harris said that the management game had changed since he joined it. He missed the action.

"As the business contracted, it became increasingly difficult and limiting since a manager can't procure employment," Harris said. "It made much more sense to be part of the canvas of a large agency. ICM has gone through a transition, and I'm excited to help build the company."

Chris Silbermann was a Harris assistant at Triad when the ICM topper began his agenting career.
