Sellers will head the company's West Coast production and development operation, balancing the responsibility with New York-based Mark Kaufman, who followed Shaye and Lynne from New Line.
A former production exec at 20th Century Fox, Sellers became a producer and has credits that include "A Cinderella Story," "Passenger 57" the "Agent Cody Banks" franchise and Keanu Reeves film "The Replacements." Sellers began his career as an entertainment lawyer at O'Melveny & Myers.
As producer, Sellers recently completed "Another Cinderella Story," and his other development projects include a "Footloose" update at Paramount and the John Poll-directed "Something Borrowed" for United Artists.
Shaye said, "Dylan is a talented producer who shares our sensibility and has a good eye for commercial appeal."
After leaving New Line, Shaye and Lynne formed Unique Features with a first-look deal at WB. They're developing the Isaac Asimov sci-fier "Foundation Trilogy."
