Reteams with N.Y. Musical Theater Festival

The Paley Center has reteamed with the New York Musical Theater Festival to present "Musicals on Television," presentations of rarely seen TV tuners.

Lineup will include the first public screening in 50 years of "Junior Miss," a 1957 tube musical featuring tunes by Burton Lane and lyrics by Dorothy Fields. Show was presented as part of "The DuPont Show of the Month" series with a cast that included Carol Lynley and Don Ameche.

Also on the program's slate are a 1966 version of "Brigadoon," starring Robert Goulet and Peter Falk; a 1972 airing of the Gershwins' "Of Thee I Sing," with Carroll O'Connor and Cloris Leachman; and a 1954 production of "Anything Goes" toplined by Ethel Merman and Frank Sinatra.

Gotham's Paley Center, formerly the Museum of Television and Radio, presented an outing of the "Musicals on Television" series last year as well.

"Brigadoon" and "Of Thee I Sing" screen Sept. 20, with "Anything Goes" and "Junior Miss" unspooling Sept. 21.
