Transgender contestant in the final 14

The wannabe glamour gals from "America's Next Top Model" will have some tough competition in the next cycle from an unlikely source.

Isis, a former office assistant hailing from Prince George’s County, Maryland, is the reality skein's first transgender contestant. The 22-year-old made it to the final 14 and will compete for the modeling contract offered as the competish's grand prize.

“My cards were dealt differently,” the aspiring model told Us Weekly. Isis identifies herself as “a woman born physically male.”

GLAAD topper Neil G. Giuliano praised the CW skein in his comments to US Weekly for supporting the transgender community in what he considers "an unprecedented opportunity for a community that is underrepresented on television."

New season of "America's Next Top Model" bows Sept. 3 on the CW.
