ABC vet Deirdre Paulino dies at 66

VP of Production managed 'My So-Called Life'

Deirdre Paulino died July 28 of ovarian cancer in Encino, Calif. She was 66.

Born in Prineville, Ore., she attended Oregon State U. before moving to Los Angeles, where she began her career at ABC.

Paulino served as VP of Production for ABC Productions, where she managed the physical production of TV programs and miniseries. She was production manager or production supervisor on shows including "My So-Called Life," "The Paula Poundstone Show," "Bringing Up Jack" and "Camp Wilder."

After retirement from ABC, she stared a landscape design company and served on the board of The Children's Cancer Research Fund.

She is survived by a daughter, two grandchildren and a sister.
