Tenpercentery will scout out opportunities in thesping, endorsement, publishing and digital media for the singer, a two-time Grammy winner and one of opera's best-known stars.
"We have been charged with taking the Renee Fleming brand and broadening it to a wider audience," said Paradigm legit agent Jack Tantleff.
Tantleff's client Francesca Zambello, the opera helmer who has recently expanded into musicals ("The Little Mermaid," "Little House on the Prairie"), introduced Fleming to Tantleff and to Paradigm.
Singer was not previously repped by an agency. IMG Artists will continue to serve as her general manager.
Fleming is skedded to appear at New York's Metropolitan Opera in a production of "Thais" that begins Gotham perfs in December. Before that, the performer will topline the Met's opening night gala Sept. 22, an event that also serves as the launch of her perfume.
On TV the singer has been seen on "Sesame Street," "Today," "The View" and "Late Show With David Letterman," among others. She also has hosted the Met's series of HD movie transmissions.
In addition to her opera career and classical recordings, Fleming has appeared on the soundtrack to "The Lord of the Rings" and recorded a 2005 album, "Haunted Heart," that includes contempo covers. Her latest CD, Strauss' "Four Last Songs," will be released next month.
