Each hourlong episode of the skein, which will launch Sept. 21, will follow the lives of those who perform critical life-saving jobs.
Ellis, a former fighter pilot, most recently emceed History net series "Digging for the Truth" and has done some specials detailing what goes on behind the scenes on "Survivor."
Series is produced by Pilgrim Films and Television and Media Rights Capital.
