Production of the Debmar-Mercury-distributed half-hour strip begins this week. The show, based on the iconic Hasbro board game, premieres Sept. 22. Fox stations have cleared "Pursuit" in major markets including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Wheeler-Sussman Prods. is exec producing.
Beyond his myriad film and TV appearances in service of his Peter Brady character, Knight has in recent years hosted "TV Road Trip" for the Travel Channel and has made guest appearances on skeins including FX's "Dirt," Fox's "That '70s Show" and ABC's "Less Than Perfect."
"Chris is a charming, personable guy people really like, and we think people will tune in to see him because he is a brand," said Lonnie Burstein, senior VP of programming for Debmar-Mercury. "I'm sure we'll do some 'Brady' type things along the way to take advantage of that."
