HOLLYWOOD
-- Bob Saget took more abuse at Sunday's Comedy Central roast, hosted by
John Stamos, than he did in eight seasons of "Full House" at the hands of the Olsen twins.
The show, filled with vile but laugh-out-loud jokes from stars such as
Cloris Leachman and
Jeff Garlin, was followed by an after-party on the Warner Bros. lot, where network topper
Doug Herzog explained why Saget was a good choice to be skewered. "He's smart, has had a lengthy career and is brave enough to sit there and take it," Herzog said.
