Peters' latest special, "Red, White and Brown," recorded at the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden during the comic's recent "Homecoming Tour," will premiere Sept. 4 at 10 p.m. on the pay cabler. Special is exec produced by Peters and his older brother and manager, Clayton.
A week later, on Sept. 11, Showtime will bow "Comics Without Borders," a nine-episode half-hour series, hosted by Peters and showcasing both established and up-and-coming multicultural standup comedians.
Series is produced by Salient Media, with Russell and Clayton Peters listed as exec producers, along with Scott Montoya, Gary Binkow, Michael Green and Jeff Golenberg.
