Nickelodeon, Palmer stay 'True'

Network orders 20 episodes of teen series

Nickelodeon has announced a 20-episode order for "True Jackson, VP," a new series featuring Keke Palmer ("Akeelah and the Bee") as the 15-year-old head of a major fashion label's youth division.

The series, produced by Andy Gordon ("News Radio," "Just Shoot Me"), will be added to the network's "TeeNick" lineup, which also includes top-ranked skeins "Zoey 101" and "iCarly."

The cast will include Ashley Argota, Danielle Bisutti and Matt Shively. Greg Proops will have a recurring role as well. Shooting will begin next month in Los Angeles.
