The exec dropped a shocker at last year's E3 by revealing that DIS had acquired famed developer Warren Spector's Junction Point Studios. Since then, Disney has released its first M-rated title, "Turok"; announced a sequel to its first original game, "Spectrobes"; and revealed plans to expand into the racing and music genres this fall.
"We're trying to make sure Disney produces more mass entertainment in the videogame space than it has historically," Hopper says. To show it means business, the Mouse House announced plans in 2007 to triple its vidgame spending over the next few years from $100 million to $350 million.
