Nowak upped to COO at New Wave

Move follows departure of CEO Alan Baral

New Wave Entertainment has promoted Rick Nowak to chief operating officer while upping Alan Duke to exec VP, general counsel and Greg Woertz to exec VP-chief financial officer.

The moves follow the departure earlier this month of co-CEO Alan Baral, who will now serve as a consultant to the company.

Paul Apel remains owner and CEO of New Wave, a firm with a broad portfolio spanning TV and film production, talent management, home entertainment and film and promotional graphics.
