Movie-Eye announces film line-up

'Love,' '1408' included in releases

TOKYO -- Hilary Swank starrer “P.S. I Love You,” set for an Oct. 18 bow, and the Mikael Hafstrom horror “1408,” skedded for a November release, are among this year’s highlights on Movie-Eye Entertainment’s 2008-09 lineup.

The distrib announced the 30-pic slate Friday; six films are domestic, 24 foreign.

Coming in 2009 are the Robert De Niro and Al Pacino starrer “Righteous Kill,” the Christian Alvart sci-fi actioner “Pandorum,” Mimi Lederer crime pic “The Code,” Kathryn Bigelow thriller “The Hurt Locker” and Renee Zellweger starrer “Chilled in Miami.”

Among the domestic pics on offer is “Nightmare Detective II,” the follow-up to the Shinya Tsukamoto psychological horror “Nightmare Detective.” Originally set for a late 2008 bow, the pic has now been pushed back to 2009.
