Wedded blitz for Jay Mohr

'Gary' star getting remarried this weekend

When things get a little slow at the TV Critics Assn. press tour, at least one scribe will quiz thesps onstage with the least interesting question of all time: "How are you like your character?"

New CBS sitcom star Jay Mohr won't be in attendance this week when the Eye promotes his series, but the answer apparently would be, "not much."

Mohr is the star of "Gary Unmarried," but in real life he's skipping the TCA to get remarried this weekend. The thesp is renewing his wedding vows out of the country.

The Eye recently retitled the show, originally called "Project Gary," because the net said it seemed like a better explanation of the character and a catchier title.
