"I'll be working on ideas for TV concepts," said Lazarus, citing CS&E's annual production of more than 200 hours of outdoors programming for ESPN.
Lazarus will also take charge of marketing, PR and event services for CS&E's corporate clients, including Aflac, AT&T, the Atlanta Falcons, Kellogg's and the New Jersey Nets.
CS&E, which is based in Atlanta, will draw on his expertise to bolster its division that represents 200 athletes, coaches and broadcasters, including Doc Rivers, coach of the Boston Celtics; John Smoltz, pitcher for the Atlanta Braves; and golfer Ryuji Imada.
Lazarus spent 18 years at the Turner Entertainment Group and wound up managing programming, original content, production, sales and marketing for TNT, TBS, Turner Sports, Cartoon Network, TCM and TruTV.
