CMT renews 'Redneck Wedding'

Tom Arnold hosts reality series

CMT has greenlit a second season of "My Big Redneck Wedding," ordering eight episodes of the half-hour series that will bow in October.

Chronicling rustic nuptials and rowdy receptions, the Tom Arnold-hosted series is produced by Pink Sneakers Prods., with Bob Kusbit and Lewis Bogach serving as exec producers.

The MTV Networks channel also announced a one-hour Christmas special starring Larry the Cable Guy. "Larry the Cable Guy's Star Studded Christmas Extravaganza" will tape July 30 at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center and feature singer Toby Keith and comedians Lewis Black and Fred Willard.

Spesh is produced by Parallel Entertainment and Ish Entertainment.
