
Sissy Spacek starrer 'Lake City' will bow Nov. 7 in Gotham.
"Lake City," a Sissy Spacek starrer that world-preemed at Tribeca, has been acquired by Screen Media.
A theatrical release is set for Nov. 7 in Gotham, Los Angeles and five other markets.
The drama, written and directed by Hunter Hill and Perry Moore, is rooted in the South. Spacek plays the matriarch of a tragedy-struck family. The support cast is full of notables, including Rebecca Romijn, Drea de Matteo, Keith Carradine and Dave Matthews.
Hill is a tyro, while Moore produced "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" and exec produced the first "Narnia" installment.
Screen Media has released 120 films since 2001, some theatrically. Their catalog includes "Noel," with Penelope Cruz and Susan Sarandon; "One Last Dance," starring Patrick Swayze; and Kevin Bacon's directorial debut, "Loverboy."
