'Early' gig for Mazzarelli

Producer lands post at CBS morning show

Tom Mazzarelli has been appointed a senior producer for CBS' "The Early Show," the Eye announced Tuesday.

Before coming to CBS, Mazzarelli was at Twentieth Television, where he launched and exec produced syndicated ayem yakker "The Morning Show With Mike and Juliet."

Prior to that, Mazzarelli spent almost a decade shuttling between NBC ("Today") and MSNBC ("Hardball," "The Big Show With Keith Olbermann").
