Howard Wolfson, a longtime Dem operative who most recently headed up communications for Hillary Clinton's unsuccessful presidential nomination bid, will make his first appearance on the cabler in his new capacity today.
"Howard was part of the inner working circle of Sen. Clinton's campaign and has a unique perspective on just how unconventional this election year already is," said John Moody, FNC exec veep of news editorial. "He has proven himself on key campaigns throughout the last decade and is recognized as one of the top communications and political thinkers in the Democratic Party. We look forward to benefiting from his insight during the general election campaign and beyond."
Wolfson will also resume his work as a partner with the Glover Park Group, a D.C. firm specializing in political advertising, lobbying, public relations and crisis management, according to the Center for Media and Democracy.
Wolfson is the second former Clinton adviser that Fox News has recently added to its roster. Lanny Davis, who served in the Bill Clinton White House, was signed as a contributor last month (Daily Variety, June 17).
