Jeff Sagansky, interim CEO since November, remains co-chair of the board of directors with Drew Craig. He stepped in after the previous CEO, Gary Howsam, resigned because of a federal investigation unrelated to Peace Arch.
Noble has more than 20 years experience in showbiz, many of them at Canwest. He will work closely with Los Angeles-based prexy-chief operating officer John Flock.
Sagansky lauded Noble's leadership capabilities and entertainment experience.
Most recently, exec was prexy and CEO of Transit TV Network, a digital media company based in the U.S. that is a subsidiary of Canada's Torstar.
He served in various roles at Canwest. In 2000, he was named prexy-CEO of Canwest's Canuck TV operations. He also served as chief exec of TV3 New Zealand, CEO of CanWest Radio, director of Network Ten in Oz, director of TV3 in Ireland and CEO of Fireworks Entertainment, Canwest's feature film production and distribution outfit.
