Asian content streams on GyaO

Media co.'s video site offering shows, news

TOKYO -- GyaO, media conglom Usen's video hosting website, has started offering Asian content on its new AsiNavi (Ajinabi) site.

Launched on Tuesday, the site provides dramas, pics, concerts and TV variety shows, as well as entertainment news and info from South Korea, Taiwan, China, Thailand and elsewhere in Asia.

All the content, including original shows and staff blogs, is advertising funded.

Launched in April 2005, GyaO provides a wide range of content, from pics to original entertainment programming. As of July 2007, the site claimed 15 million subscribers.
