Ratings blues for 'Love Guru'

Singapore org gives comedy PG-16 rating

“The Love Guru” has been hit with a PG-16 rating by Singapore’s Board of Film Censors for its “crude, sexual humor.”

UIP will release the Mike Myers comedy on Sept. 4.

The BFC referred it to the Films Consultative Panel after learning that the pic was the subject of religious sensitivity in the U.S. The panel found that the comedy did “not denigrate any religion” but decided the humor was too blue for young auds.
