LONDON -- The 25 participants in the soph edition of the Guiding Lights U.K. film industry mentoring program were announced Wednesday at a champagne reception in London's Covent Garden.

The 25, who already have some experience, will learn from bizzers including directors Paul Greengrass, Roger Michell, David Yates and Anand Tucker, producers Paul Webster, Alison Owen and Damian Jones and writer Frank Cottrell Boyce.

Participants will develop a one-on-one relationship with their mentor and take part in networking sessions and masterclasses at events including the London and Edinburgh film festivals.

"Guiding Lights is a great mechanism for bringing new blood into British film as well as being a vital opportunity for those at the top of their game to channel what they've learned back into the industry," said Tim Bevan of Working Title Films, chairman of the Guiding Lights steering committee.

Guiding Lights is part of A Bigger Future, a joint project set up by Skillset and the U.K. Film Council.
