His most recent job at Endemol was senior exec director, commercial and creative affairs.
Morley’s other posts have included managing director of Endemol Poland and running Endemol's global creative team plus overseeing the outfit's international format sales, distribution and program acquisitions.
Morley said: “After a magnificent seven years at Endemol I've decided I need a new challenge.
“It's a hard decision to make because for me I'm not only leaving the finest international TV production in the world, I'm leaving the best group of professionals you could ever hope to work with.”
Ynon Kreiz, a former topper at Fox Kids Europe, recently took over as Endemol’s CEO.
He succeeded Aat Schouwenaar, who returned to Endemol last year as interim chief exec following its acquisition by a consortium that included company co-founder John de Mol, Silvio Berlusconi’s Mediaset and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners.
Schouwenaar said: “Mike has played a key role in the growth and success of Endemol over the last seven years.
“Throughout that time he has been a dedicated and phenomenally hard working member of the senior management team.”
