Denmark sets new film festival

CPH:PIX to bow on April 16, 2009

STOCKHOLM -- New Danish international film festival CPH:PIX, born out of the remnants of the NatFilm Festival and Copenhagen Intl. Film Festival, wil bow April 16, 2009.

Director of the 10-day event is former Copenhagen fest programmer Jacob Neiindam. Programmer is NatFilm's former head of programming Niels Lind Larsen, and producer is Andreas Steinmann.

Mikkel Harder Munck-Hansen is director of the new Copenhagen Film Festivals org, which will run Copenhagen-set CPH:PIX, docu fest CPH:DOX and children's film fest Buster.
