Allen was treated as cinema royalty when he came to San Sebastian in 2004 to present fest opener "Melinda and Melinda."
Produced by Mediapro and Gravier Prods., with Antena 3 Films, "Vicky" bows in Spain Sept. 19, a day after its San Sebastian screening.
Exhibs tip it to become the highest-grossing Spanish film in Spain this year.
Spain's biggest local bow so far this year is Alex de la Iglesia's "Oxford Murders" with $12.7 million. But "Match Point" almost matched that in 2005-06 with $11.8 million.
