Peace Point Entertainment CEO and exec producer Les Tomlin said Thursday that L.A.-based Alluvial Filmworks has worldwide DVD distribution rights and will launch sales in early 2009.
The show, produced for Canada's Outdoor Life Network, has already been picked up by Premier Media Group (Australia), ViaSat (Europe) and Canal Z (French-language Canada).
Season 3 is now being shot in North America, Jamaica and the U.K. and will wrap July 17.
Shot in HD, "Ed's Up!" follows Robertson as he flies his Cessna to various locations where he tackles punishing jobs (post CSI-unit cleanup, slaughterhouse, air force boot camp etc.).
Peace Point Entertainment is a Toronto-based independent producer of doc, lifestyle, reality and drama TV content and is a shareholder of OUTtv.
