New Victory wins Arts Education award

Theater presented Neil Gaiman adaptation

The New Victory Theater has won the National Award for Excellence in Arts Education. The 13-year-old, Midtown-based children's theater presented the stage version of Neil Gaiman's "Wolves in the Walls" this year, and has slated the Guthrie Theater's "Henry V" for next season.

Past recipients of the award from the D.C.-based Arts Education Network include violinist Midori and former Museum of Modern Art prexy Agnes Gund.
