Debuting at a very young age in Luis Buñuel’s last film, 1977’s “That Obscure Object of Desire,” Bouquet’s curriculum has varied widely from a Bond girl turn opposite Roger Moore (John Glen’s “For Your Eyes Only,” 1981), to roles for star auteurs (Francis Ford Coppola’s “New York Stories,” 1989; Claude Berri’s “Lucie Aubrac,” 1996) to chic Paris romcoms (Anne-Marie Etienne’s “Perfect Match?” in 2006) and a best actress Cesar (Bertrand Blier’s “Too Beautiful For You,” 1989).
The 34th Deauville Fest, a star-powered but wide-ranging celebration of American cinema, takes place Sept.5-14 in the Normandy bathing resort, two hours down the road from Paris.
