This year's honorees include Lisa Jaskol, the directing attorney for the appellate law program at Public Counsel; Gary Blasi, a member of the faculty of UCLA Law School and founding and member of the Program in Public Interest Law and Policy; and Colette Brooks, founder of the Big Imagination Group, a marketing firm that focuses on socially and environmentally responsible companies and organizations.
Matt Groening will present the award to Brooks.
Eric Zucker, who spent 18 years with the Los Angeles County's Public Defender Office, will receive a posthumous award.
Paul Alan Smith, an agent at ICM and a former honoree, will emcee.
