Fantasy pitch parks at Warners

Bryan Schulz, Neil Uliano to write script

Warner Bros. has acquired an untitled pitch for a fantasy set in Central Park. Bryan Schulz and Neil Uliano will write the script.

Dan Lin will produce through his WB-based Lin Pictures banner, and Jon Silk will co-produce.

Story follows two brothers who, while visiting their grandfather in Gotham, meet a man who shows them a mystical realm in Central Park that is in danger. The idea for the fantasy was hatched by WB senior veep Jon Berg.

Schulz and Uliano sold the spec "Imaginary Friends" to DreamWorks (Daily Variety, March 26).

WB and Lin have already laid the groundwork for the project by aligning with the Central Park Conservancy, which cares for the park.

Lin's exec producing "Terminator Salvation," the Robert Rodriguez-directed "Shorts" and the Ricky Gervais comedy "This Side of the Truth." He's producing "Justice League" for WB and the Richard Kelly-directed Cameron Diaz thriller "The Box."
