MTV tunes in VOD deal

Network pacts with Deutsche Telekom

MTV Networks Germany has inked a video-on-demand deal with telco giant Deutsche Telekom for programming highlights from its Teutonic outlets MTV, Viva, Nick and Comedy Central.

Content, to be made available on Deutsche Telekom’s T-Home platform as well as on its IPTV service, includes toon series “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and “SpongeBob SquarePants” as well as reality formats “The Hills” and “A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila” as well as “Pimp My Ride,” “Jackass” and “South Park.”

The agreement allows T-Home to continually expand its offerings of MTV Networks content.
