Attias, whose has worked on such shows as HBO's "Entourage" and "The Wire" and ABC's "Lost," will be receive the honor June 12 at the Directors Guild of America Theater.
Ceremony will also screen the films of the eight winners of UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television Directors Spotlight Competition .
Spotlight allows student filmmakers to present their work to the entertainment industry looking to spot young talent.
