Production is scheduled for late summer or early fall.
Penned by "Gosford Park" scribe Julian Fellowes, the thriller concerns an American tourist who finds his life in danger when a female Interpol agent uses him as a dupe to flush out an elusive criminal with whom she once had an affair.
Nalluri replaces Lasse Hallstrom, who was originally attached but departed the project some time ago.
Spyglass principals Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum and Jonathan Glickman will produce with Canal Plus.
Nalluri directed the HBO film "Tsunami" and the feature "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day."
