The Czech Film Commission has released a map, called "Lights! Camera! Prague!," to direct film fans to the places they've seen in such pics as "Casino Royale" and "Amadeus." Because locations like Hradcanske Namesti or the National Museum have often been disguised as imperial Austria or 007's Venice hotel lobby, many of the spots on the map will come as surprises to those who don't know the city intimately.
Ludmilla Claussova of the commission said she hopes the map will double as a brochure for foreign production companies, who will be able to see how much of the city is available for shooting and what a wide range of periods it can portray.
Those looking to visit the set of Prague-shot "Oliver Twist," "Wanted," or "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" may be disappointed, alas: Those pics were shot almost entirely on Barrandov soundstages and backlots.
